Talk With Professor Andrew Bailey

Andrew Bailey, the head of Beta Alpha Psi worldwide, will be speaking this Wednesday in Eastern Avenue Seminar Room 116 at 1pm. Andrew Bailey was the Deputy Chief Accountant of the SEC from 2004-5. Professor Bailey spent a long and distinguished career in academia, with numerous visiting professorships abroad, and culminating with his being named Emeritus Professor of Accountancy at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
Australia's Biggest Morning Tea - Cancer Council Benefit
BAP's Biggest Morning Tea 2008 was a huge success. Volunteer members sold everything that was prepared on the day.
In total, we raised $309.50 in 5 hours. This is approximately 60 brownies
sold every hour - one sold every minute.

Daffodil Day
Beta Alpha Psi members and non-member volunteers will
work with the Cancer Council's in support of Daffodil
Day, the cancer council initiative to raise funds
for cancer research. We will be selling various charitable

when our Immediate Past President Charlie Law was
placed on the list of International Scholars by the
Beta Alpha Psi Fraternity (see page 12).
Beta Alpha Psi Sydney has also been accepted into
the Beta Alpha Psi Internation fraternity by ascending
its status to that of a "superior" chapter
(see page 22).

Australian Taxation Office: Tax
Help Training
Today, Beta Alpha Psi members underwent an Australian
Taxation office Tax Help training seminar with fellow
student volunteers and professionals from the Australian
Taxation Office. In upcoming weeks we will provide
tax return services to undergraduates at the University
of Sydney.
We will be advertising this service through the University
of Sydney bulletin, and post notices on numerous bulletin
boards across the campus.
